🌹I am loving how red everything is right now! The Japanese Maples, the berries on the bushes, the late blooming roses.😍 . Today, though I couldn't get too excited about anything and was feeling kind of blah. I love those times when I'm inspired and on fire!🔥When I'm in a good place spiritually and I feel totally assured, confident and ready to take on the world!  While my faith journey truly does make my simple life magic, not everyday of my walk is full of peaceful contemplation or profound revelation. Some days I am just trying to make it through and I feel out of touch. Some days, what I know to be true in my head doesn't reach my heart of hearts & my prayers fall flat. I wander around looking for God and find myself in the shadows, not knowing how I got there. When this happens I try to ask myself why and I start dismantling the walls I build up in my heart. Thats why it was so timely for me when I opened my email this morning looking to read my daily devotional and found an extra item in my inbox from @blessedisshe__ that read "I Don't Even Know What to Say💭" & I was surprised to see that it talked about this very thing and offered some short prayers to help get you by. It was God's way of letting me know I'm not alone in this! A relationship with God is just that, a relationship & just like our earthly relationships, it can go through ups and downs and it can take work. 🌹Hey everyone! Things have been a little quiet here because I am working on so many projects right now and have been super busy! Which is great📝📚👍 . .. But I wanted to pop in and share this painting of my grandmother that my grandfather commisioned in Germany in 1954 when he was deployed there. Isn't it beautiful?💖 We share a very special bond and I've always admired my grandmother for being such a true lady! They've been married now for about 62 years! Talk about #marriagegoals 💏 . .. 🎃Happy Halloween! Have fun & stay safe!🍁 . .. . October is one of my favorite months with its bright, cool and perfect early Fall days and this one surely didn't dissapoint!🍂 . .. . Its also the month of the rosary and I enjoyed the prompt of praying it daily. The prayer has become so dear to me, aiding me through pregnancies and life in general but, I didn't always pray it. Before coming home to the Church I went to a non-denominational church (remind me to blog about this soon) and struggled for a while with Marian theology. But, now I am so humbled and thankful for the loving guidance of the Blessed Mother and this beautiful and efficacious prayer.
